About our CSA

Our CSA program offers a more intimate way of connecting with our customers and our community, while providing our customers with a means of connecting with and supporting a local farm.  Our CSA also allows us to share the benefits and challenges of farming with our customers.  By purchasing a share of our crop at the beginning of the season, CSA members increase our cash flow at a time when expenses are high and revenue is low.  CSA members are guaranteed a share of the crop, which varies depending on the season.

When purchasing a Maple Valley Farms CSA share, members receive a basket of fresh locally grown vegetables once a week during the growing season and a real connection to their food and farmer.  We try to vary the produce each week, while maintaining our committment to providing you with produce you want.  Our weekly email will provide tasty and easy recipe ideas for some of the items included in each weeks package.  There are also options to add extra produce in any given week, if you find you need more for a special event, guests, etc.

The program season is ten weeks long beginning the third or fourth week of July and runs until the third or fourth week of September.

A half share is sized to feed a young family or a couple, priced at $290.  This package will have on average 6-8 different varieties of vegetables.

A full share is sized to feed larger families, vegans and vegetarians, or someone that loves to put extra summer veggies in the freezer for the winter months.  It is priced at $530.  The full share has on average 8-10 different varieties of vegetables.

CSA members purchase their share before the season begins.  A few different payment options are available, which can be found on the "Join our CSA" page.

Members will receive a package of vegetables once a week for 10 consecutive weeks.  Each week we choose what will be in the packages, according to what is ready to be picked in the garden.
